Masamoto Sohonten Yanagiba KnifeThe Yanagiba is a traditional Japanese knife designed for slicing sashimi with a single pulling motion using its long blade. This premium knife is made from Pure Japanese Steel and has seen very little use, with minimal blade wear. It includes a wooden sheath. There are a few shallow black spots from long-term storage, but they are superficial. We have left them as they are since many users will not mind them, and they can be removed with further polishing or sharpening of the blade road. The sharpened edge is clean, showing the bright silver color of the carbon steel with no remaining black spots, and the knife is ready for many more years of use. This single-beveled carbon steel knife offers excellent sharpness.Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.Engraving: 純日本鋼 (Pure Japanese Steel), 登録 (Registered), 正本総本店 (Masamoto Sohonten)Branded marking: 正本 (Masamoto) on handle butt
