Sakai Toji Nakiri Knife

The Nakiri is a double-beveled knife with a wide blade designed for cutting and chopping a variety of vegetables.

A light black oxide treatment has been applied to the blade, forming a stable oxide layer on the surface. It has not been processed until completely black, but the color change from the original steel can be seen by comparing it with the sharpened edge and the untreated area near the heel. The depth and color of the black oxide finish vary slightly across the blade, giving each knife its own individual appearance.

This double-beveled knife is made of carbon steel and offers excellent sharpness.

Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.
