Tsunenobu Deba Knife

The Deba is a traditional Japanese knife designed for filleting fish, featuring a thick blade well suited for working around bones. This knife shows almost no signs of use and remains in excellent condition. It will be delivered with its original box, although the box has some wear. The flat of the blade has been polished to a mirror finish. Knife oil has been applied for storage, so the mirror-polished area may appear slightly cloudy. Washing it lightly with dish soap will restore its original appearance.

Mirror and semi-mirror finishes are often applied only to part of the blade rather than the entire blade. Please refer to the photos for the exact condition. As this finish is completed by hand, minor scratches may remain. We hope you will appreciate these as part of its handcrafted character.

This single-beveled carbon steel knife offers a sharp cutting edge.

Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.
