Tobimine Santoku Knife
The santoku is an all-purpose knife that handles meat, fish, and vegetables well, with an easy-to-use shape for daily cooking.
This knife is double-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). While there is some darkening typical of carbon steel, the sharpened edge shows a clean silver hagane surface.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features engravings “登録” (Registered), “飛峰” (Tobimine), and “特撰” (Special Selection).
A carbon-steel santoku like this can feel lively and responsive on the board—especially once freshly sharpened for everyday home prep.
Length: 305mm
Blade Length: 165mm
Blade Width: 48mm
Blade Thickness: 3mm
Weight: 121g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
