Minamoto Mitsukane Petty Knife 150mm
This is a petty knife by Minamoto Mitsukane. Petty knives are small Western-style knives that are easy to use for cutting fruit, vegetables, and decorative garnishes. This is an unused, boxed item, so the edge is expected to be very good, and it has not been sharpened in order to keep the original finish intact.
The blade is double-bevel Hagane (carbon steel or Japanese steel), designed to provide a sharp, responsive edge.
It bears the engravings “登録” (Registered) and “源光金” (Minamoto Mitsukane). This petty knife offers a good balance between size and control, making it an excellent companion to a larger chef’s knife in the kitchen.
Its traditional Japanese branding and unused condition make it suitable for collectors as well as everyday users.
Length: 265mm
Blade Length: 150mm
Blade Width: 28mm
Blade Thickness: 1-2mm
Weight: 78g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
