Miyakotsuru Nakiri Knife

This is a nakiri knife from Miyakotsuru. Nakiri knives are optimized for vegetable cutting, particularly straight chopping motions. This piece is from the Miyakotsuru line, which is also handled at department stores, and appears to have been stored almost unused. Many of the small marks seen on the surface are on the protective coating applied over the Hagane steel, rather than damage to the blade itself.

The knife has a double-bevel Hagane (carbon steel) blade that offers excellent sharpness.

It has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features engravings "登録" (Registered) and "都鶴" (Miyakotsuru), and the handle retains its original seal.

This Miyakotsuru nakiri is well suited to serious home cooks who appreciate the bite of carbon steel but want a blade that has seen very little prior use.
