Kikuhide Deba Knife 160mm

This is a Deba knife by Kikuhide. Deba knives are thick, heavy Japanese knives made for breaking down fish. This piece is marked as stainless (fushukou), making it more resistant to rust than traditional carbon-steel Deba. The blade has been sharpened to a relatively straight profile, and it has been finished in that shape.

The knife is single-bevel stainless steel, making it easy to handle and simple to maintain.

The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.

It features the inscription “菊秀不銹鋼” (Kikuhide Stainless Steel). This stainless Deba is a good option for users who want the power of a Deba for fish preparation without the extra care required by carbon steel, such as in busy sushi or seafood kitchens.

Its straight edge line also makes it feel predictable on the board for users who prefer simple, direct cuts.
