Glestain Western Deba Knife 160mm
This is a Western Deba knife by Glestain. Western Deba knives combine the versatility of a Santoku or Gyuto with the extra blade thickness needed to handle fish processing, making them highly versatile all-purpose knives. This piece appears to have seen very little use. It was ground with a strong bias toward one side, around 9:1 to 8:2, and has been finished in that style. One side of the blade features Glestain’s characteristic dimples to help ingredients release easily.
The knife is made from double-bevel stainless steel, so it is resistant to rust and easy to maintain despite its asymmetrical grind.
The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.
It bears the Glestain logo and lettering. This Western Deba can handle everything from trimming fish to general prep, making it a practical option for cooks who want one stainless knife for meat, fish, and everyday tasks.
Length: 285mm
Blade Length: 160mm
