Hozugawa Santoku Knife 180mm
This is a Santoku knife by Hozugawa. Santoku knives are standard all-purpose kitchen knives that can be used for meat, fish, and vegetables. This piece features a beautiful hammered pattern. The hammered dimples help food release more easily and also give the blade a distinctive, expressive look.
The knife has a double-bevel Honwarikomi structure, with a Hagane core and stainless steel cladding, balancing sharpness and rust resistance.
The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.
It bears the engravings “手打” (Hand-Forged), “保津川” (Hozugawa), and “別作” (Special Make). This Santoku is ideal for users who want a visually striking everyday knife that also performs well in routine prep work.
The hammered finish and warikomi construction together provide both functionality and a handcrafted feel on the cutting board.
