Jinsaku Nakiri Knife 160mm
This is a Nakiri knife by Jinsaku. Nakiri knives are double-bevel Japanese vegetable knives with a straight edge, specialized for chopping and slicing vegetables. This piece appears to have been stored with almost no use; the handle still retains its original sticker. The kuro-uchi area shows some storage-related grime and minor rust, but overall it is a clean knife.
The blade is double-bevel Hagane (carbon steel), providing a crisp, satisfying cut through vegetables.
The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.
It features engravings “純手打” (Pure Hand-Forged), “甚作” (Jinsaku), and “与板ライオンズクラブ” (Yoita Lions Club), and the handle retains its sticker. This Nakiri is ideal for users who enjoy the feel of a traditional hand-forged Japanese vegetable knife and want clean, straight cuts in cabbage, leafy greens, and root vegetables.
The kuro-uchi finish and hand-forged marks give it a rustic charm that stands out in the kitchen.
