Kagemitsu Nakiri Knife

The Nakiri is a double-bevel vegetable knife with a straight edge, ideal for shredding cabbage and making katsuramuki on daikon. This piece is hagane carbon steel, which is more prone to patina but takes a razor-sharp, beautiful polish. Light patina typical of hagane is present, while the freshly sharpened edge shows a clean silver finish.

Sharpened and ready to use upon arrival—please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features the engraving "景光" (Kagemitsu).

Great first Nakiri for precise vegetable work: the straight profile helps flat contact on the board, reducing accordion cuts and improving consistency.
