The Yanagiba is a Japanese knife specialized for slicing sashimi cleanly and precisely. This item appears to have been stored with minimal use and shows very little patina on the high-carbon steel blade.

This is a single-bevel knife made from high-carbon steel, known for its excellent sharpness.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "菊一文字別作" (Kikuichimonji Bessaku) and a branded burn mark on the handle.
