Minamoto Takafusa Yanagiba Knife

The Yanagiba is a traditional sashimi knife designed to slice fish in a single smooth pulling motion. This knife features an attractive water buffalo handle and appears to have seen very little use. The blade is exceptionally thin, making it suitable for use as a Fuguhiki and well suited for preparing thinly sliced sashimi. There may have been a personal name engraved below the brand inscription, but it has been neatly removed.

This knife is single-beveled carbon steel, valued for its exceptionally sharp edge.

Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.
