Kikka Santoku Knife
This is a santoku knife from Kikka. The santoku is a multipurpose knife that handles meat, fish, and vegetables well. This knife is a warikomi blade with little sign of use. The round metal ferrule at the handle is a distinctive feature.
The knife has a double-bevel Hon-Warikomi structure, with high-quality steel core ("本割込鋼") clad in outer jigane, providing both sharpness and user-friendly handling.
It has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
The blade is marked "本割込鋼" (Hon-Warikomi Steel) and "菊花" (Kikka).
This Kikka santoku is a nicely balanced everyday knife for cooks who want a traditional-wa handled blade with modern cutting performance.
