Nihonbashi KIYA #6 Santoku Knife
This is the Nihonbashi KIYA #6 santoku knife. The santoku is a versatile all-purpose knife suitable for meat, fish, and vegetables. This piece appears to have been carefully used and maintained. The handle rivets have been replaced DIY with bolts and nuts, giving the knife a rugged, custom look.
The knife has a double-bevel Hagane (carbon steel) blade made from hand-forged Swedish steel, offering a sharp, lively cutting feel. It is a practical tool that still has plenty of life left for heavy daily use.
It has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It features engravings "日本橋" (Nihonbashi), "木屋" (Kiya), "スウェーデン鋼" (Swedish Steel), "本鍛造" (Hand-Forged), and "#6".
This Nihonbashi KIYA #6 santoku is ideal for users who value performance and character in a workhorse kitchen knife rather than a pristine collector’s piece.
