Toshimitsu Deba Knife 145mm

This is a Deba knife by Toshimitsu. Deba knives are Japanese blades used for tasks such as removing fish heads and cutting through bones. This piece shows noticeable signs of use, and there is some typical carbon-steel darkening, but the sharpened edge reveals a bright silver line, indicating it still has plenty of life and can serve as a practical working knife.

The blade is single-bevel Hagane (carbon steel), offering a strong, decisive cutting action.

The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.

It features the engraving “利光” (Toshimitsu). This deba is a good choice for those who want a solid, no-nonsense tool for fish prep, including filleting fish for sashimi or preparing pieces for sushi, without being overly concerned about cosmetic patina.

The shorter length also makes it easier to handle for users with smaller hands or limited board space.
