Yasutsuna Santoku Knife
This is a santoku knife from Yasutsuna. The santoku is a well-balanced all-purpose knife that can handle meat, fish, and vegetables. This piece shows very little sign of use and appears to have been mostly kept in storage. It is made from three-layer steel with a sharp blade steel core sandwiched between outer layers, giving it both good cutting performance and durability.
The knife has a double-bevel warikomi construction, with a corrosion-resistant cladding around a keen inner Hagane core, making it practical and easy to use.
It features engravings "登録" (Registered), "安綱作" (Yasutsuna-Made), and "三層鋼" (Three-Layer Steel).
