Tadamune Deba Knife 155mm

This is a Deba knife by Tadamune. Deba knives are Japanese blades specialized for breaking down fish and cutting through bones. There is some typical darkening from Hagane, but the sharpened edge is bright and silver. The original sticker is still intact, suggesting it has seen relatively light use and careful storage.

The blade is single-bevel Hagane (carbon steel), offering a keen and decisive cut.

The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.

It bears the engraving “忠宗作” (Tadamune Saku), and the handle retains its original sticker. This Deba is well suited for users who want a traditional fish-processing knife for filleting and portioning fish for sashimi or sushi, with enough presence to handle bones confidently.

Its relatively compact length also makes it easier to control on smaller cutting boards.
