Sakai Toji Deba Knife

The Deba knife is a traditional Japanese knife designed for filleting fish, with a thick and sturdy blade. This 185mm Deba knife is in near-unused condition. The wooden sheath fits tightly, which may cause slight difficulty in removing or inserting the knife but indicates minimal prior use. This will improve as the blade is used over time.

The water buffalo horn ferrule shows minor scratches and chips from storage, which are reflected in the price. The knife also comes with a wooden sheath for safe storage and transport.

Made from single-bevel high-carbon steel, it is known for its sharpness and durability.

The blade has been professionally sharpened, ensuring it is ready for immediate use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "堺刀司" (Sakai Toji).
