Sakai Ichimonji Mitsuhide Funayuki Knife

This is a funayuki knife by Sakai Ichimonji Mitsuhide.

The funayuki sits between a deba and a santoku in use, making it suitable for fish, meat, and vegetables. This appears to be a nearly unused stored item. There is some very slight darkening from storage, but overall it is extremely clean with little to no sign of use. Please allow for minor storage marks and sharpening marks.

This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
A funayuki like this is especially versatile for users who want a traditional Japanese knife that can handle fish work and everyday prep in one blade.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engravings and logo "堺一文字光秀" (Sakai Ichimonji Mitsuhide).

Length: 310mm
Blade Length: 165mm
Blade Width: 45mm
Blade Thickness: 7-8mm
Weight: 245g
