Hisatsugu Wa-Santoku Knife
This is a wa-santoku knife by Hisatsugu.
The wa-santoku combines the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese knife with the versatility needed for meat, fish, and vegetables. This handmade knife is thicker near the heel on the spine side and becomes thinner toward the tip. It appears to have been used with care and maintained properly over time.
This knife is double-edged and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
Its hand-shaped taper and traditional feel make it appealing to users who enjoy the character of handmade Japanese kitchen knives.
The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It features the engravings "登録" (Registered) and "久次作" (Hisatsugu).
