Kireaji no Ie Nakiri Knife

This is a nakiri knife by Kireaji no Ie.

The nakiri is a double-edged vegetable knife with a straight edge for efficient vegetable cutting. This knife appears to have received polishing and has a somewhat semi-mirror appearance. It is also marked Aogami, suggesting a fine knife made with Yasuki Blue Steel.

This knife is double-edged and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
A blue steel nakiri like this is especially attractive for users who want sharp, crisp vegetable cuts and the feel of traditional Japanese carbon steel.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

Although it has become faint through maintenance, it still bears the engraving "切味乃家" (Kireaji no Ie).
