Minamoto Izumimasa Yanagiba Knife

The Yanagiba is a traditional Japanese knife designed for slicing sashimi with a long blade in a single pulling motion.

This knife is single-beveled carbon steel, offering excellent sharpness.

A sashimi knife with a very beautiful white water buffalo handle. It appears to have been stored with very little use. It has been thoroughly sharpened due to storage time. Please allow for storage stains, small scratches, and sharpening marks.

Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.

Engraving: 登録 (Registered), 源泉正 (Minamoto Izumimasa). There may have been a name or similar marking below it, but it appears to have been removed to the point that it is unreadable.
