Seki Magoroku Yanagiba Knife
The yanagiba is a sashimi knife designed for delicate pull-cut slicing.
This knife is single-beveled and made of stainless steel, so it is rust-resistant and easy to maintain. Aside from a bit of storage grime, it can be considered nearly unused. It was stored in its original box, but the box was damaged and has been discarded, and it was likely hardly used.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features markings including “関孫六” (Seki Magoroku), “JAPAN,” and “刺身” (Sashimi).
For home sushi and sashimi prep, stainless steel makes cleanup simple—nice when you want to slice fish and get everything washed and put away quickly.
Length: 340mm
Blade Length: 215mm
Blade Width: 30mm
Blade Thickness: 2-3mm
Weight: 116g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
