Seki Magoroku Gyuto Knife
A gyuto is a Western-style chef’s knife that can handle a wide range of tasks, especially meat slicing, while still working well for vegetables and fish.
This knife is double-beveled and made with a warikomi construction under the Seki Magoroku brand. The engravings have faded slightly, and there are small scratches from normal use and care, but it should perform without problems.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features markings “関孫六” (Seki Magoroku), “本割込鋼” (Warikomi Steel), and the KAI logo.
Gyuto knives are appreciated for their balanced length and pointed tip—useful for everything from slicing proteins to quick, precise prep work.
Length: 305mm
Blade Length: 180mm
Blade Width: 40mm
Blade Thickness: 1-2mm
Weight: 105g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
