Minamoto? Yanagiba Knife.
Yanagiba knives are slim knives used for drawing sashimi cuts cleanly through fish.
The engraving has faded through maintenance, but the first character appears to be 源 (Minamoto).
A superbly made water-buffalo-handle item, priced affordably because the engraving is faint.
A good value for anyone who does not mind the uncertain engraving.
This single-bevel carbon steel item offers excellent cutting performance.
Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.
The engraving is present but too faded to read; the first character appears to be 源 (Minamoto).
Length: 410mm
Blade Length: 265mm
Blade Width: 31mm
Blade Thickness: 3-4mm
Weight: 143g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
