Masamoto Takohiki Knife

The Takohiki is a Kanto-style sashimi knife with a straight blade profile designed for clean and beautiful sashimi slicing. This is a long-bladed Takohiki from Masamoto. The water buffalo ferrule shows some age-related insect damage and cracking, but this should not affect use. As with most traditional Japanese knives, the handle can be replaced if desired.

This knife is single-beveled carbon steel, valued for its exceptionally sharp edge.

Professionally sharpened and ready to use. Sharpening service is included in the price. Please handle with care when unpacking.
