Sakai Mitsuyoshi Yanagiba Knife

This is a yanagiba knife by Sakai Mitsuyoshi.

The yanagiba is a traditional Japanese knife for slicing sashimi with long, single-direction strokes. With a blade length of 215mm, it should also be easy to handle in a home kitchen.

This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
A comfortable size for home sashimi and sushi preparation, while still preserving the traditional yanagiba cutting style.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "堺光善作" (Sakai Mitsuyoshi).
