Yamanishi Nakiri Knife

This is a nakiri knife by Yamanishi.

The nakiri is a double-edged vegetable knife with a straight edge for efficient vegetable cutting. This piece was likely stored unused or nearly unused. The handle stickers remain clean, and the kurouchi finish is also nicely preserved.

This knife is double-edged and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
A clean example of a traditional vegetable knife, suitable for users who enjoy the feel and edge response of carbon steel.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "特製" (Special). The handle retains stickers reading "山西" (Yamanishi) and "西山商会" (Nishiyama Shokai).
