This is an aji-kiri knife by Masafumi.
The aji-kiri is a compact Japanese knife designed for handling small fish and other close-control tasks. This piece shows almost no sign of use. It appears to have seen very little actual use, and the kurouchi finish remains relatively clean.
This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
A practical size for precise fish prep, especially when working on smaller species where a larger deba feels excessive.
The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It features the engravings "登録" (Registered) and "正文" (Masafumi), along with the brand logo.
