Hidari Yorimitsu Yanagiba Knife

This is a yanagiba knife by Hidari Yorimitsu.

The yanagiba is a traditional Japanese knife designed for slicing sashimi with a long, single pulling motion. This item is unopened. The listed weight includes the box. The knife itself cannot be measured because it remains unopened, but it is likely around 100g. Please allow for any storage marks or light soiling from storage.

This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
An unopened traditional sashimi knife like this is appealing both as a practical tool and as a well-preserved example for collectors or careful users.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "左頼光別作" (Hidari Yorimitsu Custom Made). Since the knife remains unopened, the reverse side engraving has not been confirmed. The handle bears a branded mark, and the sticker also remains in clean condition.
