Special Wa-Santoku Knife

This is a wa-santoku knife marked Special.

The wa-santoku combines the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese knife with the versatility needed for meat, fish, and vegetables. Since the edge had been sharpened to a fairly straight profile, it has been finished in that same shape. The spine near the heel is relatively thick, so it should also be capable of handling light fish-prep tasks. It is a knife with broad usefulness.

This knife is double-edged and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness.
Its straighter edge and thicker heel make it an interesting multi-purpose knife for users who want a traditional-feeling blade with wider utility.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engraving "特製" (Special).
