The deba is a Japanese fish knife with a thick blade suited to working around bones. Dark patina typical of carbon steel is visible, but the sharpened edge shows a clean silver finish and remains in good condition.
This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (carbon steel), offering excellent sharpness. A traditional fish knife with the direct cutting feel carbon steel is known for, suitable for careful breakdown work.
The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It features the engravings "隆三郎作" (Ryusaburo) and "別打" (Custom Forged). The handle also bears a branded mark.
