Yamato Takeru Honesuki Knife

This is a honesuki knife by Yamato Takeru.

The honesuki is a sturdy Japanese boning knife designed for working around poultry bones and for breakdown tasks that require both thickness and control. Although this is a stainless steel knife, it appears to have been stored for a long time, and rust can be seen on some of the metal parts around the handle. The blade itself is fine, and while the rust on the handle is somewhat deep, it does not appear to affect actual use. The condition is reflected in the price, so it may be a good value for someone who does not mind cosmetic issues.

This knife is double-edged and made of stainless steel, so it is rust-resistant and easy to maintain.
Its thick, compact profile makes it especially useful for poultry work, jointing, and precise trimming where control matters more than blade length.

The knife has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engravings "日本武" (Yamato Takeru) and "INOX".
