Kumofuji Nakiri Knife

The nakiri is a Japanese vegetable knife designed for straight push-cutting. Its flat edge makes it efficient for chopping and slicing vegetables.

This knife is double-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). There is some rubbing on the kurouchi area, but the cutting edge shows a clean silver hagane finish, and overall it appears to be in good condition.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features engravings “特選” (Special Selection) and “雲富士” (Kumofuji).

If you do a lot of vegetables, a carbon-steel nakiri can be incredibly satisfying—fast, efficient push cuts with a crisp edge feel.
