Yoshitsugu Yanagiba Knife

The yanagiba is a sashimi knife designed for delicate pull-cut slicing.

This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). It should let you enjoy slicing sashimi from fish blocks at home with ease.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features the engraving “善次作” (Yoshitsugu-made).

Even at home, using a true yanagiba can noticeably improve sashimi texture—cleaner cuts mean less damage to the fish’s surface.
