Kobai Santoku Knife

The santoku is a classic all-purpose knife for meat, fish, and vegetables, making it a staple for everyday cooking.

This knife is double-beveled with a warikomi (clad) construction, using hagane as the core for a keen cutting feel. Clad construction also makes daily care relatively easy compared to fully carbon steel.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features the engraving “紅梅作” (Kobai-made).

A steel-core santoku is a satisfying daily upgrade—good sharpness for clean cuts, with manageable upkeep for regular home kitchens.
