Kikuhiro Santoku Knife
The santoku is an all-purpose knife that works well for meat, fish, and vegetables.
This knife is double-beveled with a warikomi (clad) construction. The blade is thicker near the heel and becomes slimmer toward the tip. The Damascus-style pattern is very attractive. There are very fine hammer marks on the spine, but they do not affect use.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features engravings “神田” (Kanda) and “菊弘” (Kikuhiro).
Damascus-style cladding adds visual character, and the tapering shape can feel nicely balanced—strong at the heel, precise toward the tip for daily prep.
Length: 300mm
Blade Length: 175mm
Blade Width: 42mm
Blade Thickness: 3mm
Weight: 141g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
