KIYA Deba Knife

This is a Deba knife from KIYA. Deba knives are traditional Japanese blades used for processing fish, ideal for tasks such as removing heads and making three-piece fillets. While typical Hagane darkening is present, the sharpened edge shows a clean silver core, and the water buffalo handle provides good balance and handling.

The knife has a single-bevel Hagane (carbon steel) blade that cuts powerfully and cleanly through fish and bone joints.

It has been sharpened, so it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It bears the "木屋" (Kiya) engraving.

This KIYA Deba is a dependable tool for filleting fish for sashimi or sushi, making it a strong choice for both home cooks and sushi chefs looking for a compact, easy-handling fish knife.
