Kikuhide Large Deba Knife
The large Deba is a thick and powerful Japanese knife designed for breaking down large fish. It features a water buffalo horn handle. Although it appears to have been stored for some time, it remains in very clean condition. There are hammer marks on the spine, which are reflected in the price and do not affect performance.
This single-edged Hagane steel knife delivers strong and decisive cutting power. Its thick spine and weight make it well suited for cutting through fish heads and larger bones in traditional Japanese fish preparation.
It has been sharpened and is ready for immediate use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It bears the engravings "菊秀" (Kikuhide) and "特撰" (Tokusen).
Length: 370mm
Blade Length: 205mm
Blade Width: 58mm
Blade Thickness: 9-10mm
Weight: 404g
SHARPENED by a Japanese Sharpener. Razor sharp. The sharpener is in Kyoto, the traditional city in Japan as you know. You can use without maintenance. You don't need to pay maintenance costs after receiving. If any, please feel free to ask, English available.
