Sakai Toji Honesuki Knife, Forged by Masashige
The Honesuki is a specialized boning knife used for meat processing and working around bones. It has a unique shape ideal for precision tasks.
This knife was sharpened almost entirely single-edged (approx. 90:10), with light honing on the back. The heel has also been reshaped to a safer form.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
This single-edged knife is made of high-carbon steel, known for its sharpness.
It features engravings "堺刀司" (Sakai Toji) and "正重作" (Masashige). Includes a wooden sheath.
Crafted for the skilled butcher, this honesuki offers precision, balance, and traditional aesthetics in one.
