Harry was visiting Kyoto from Australia with his family when he discovered Yoichiro Knife. He told us that he was happy to find a shop giving Japanese knives a second life and appreciated the detail provided in the descriptions.

He chose two Wa-Santoku knives, a Hisatsugu 165mm and a Tosa 170mm, during his stay in Kyoto.

Harry was traveling with his wife and their 1-year-and-9-month-old son, Arthur. With a young child and his daily nap schedule, moving around Kyoto was not always easy, so I arranged to deliver the knives directly to their Airbnb.

It was a pleasure to meet Harry and his family in person, and little Arthur was especially memorable.

After checking the knives, Harry told me that everything was honest and matched the photos and descriptions, and that he and his family were very happy with them.
