Daan has supported Yoichiro Knife through many purchases, bringing Japanese knives from our shop to customers in the Netherlands.

It is always special to see knives from Japan presented in another country and given the opportunity to begin a new life in local kitchens.

After many orders and conversations, Daan feels less like only a customer and more like a friend of the shop. Although we have not met in person yet, I hope we can meet one day, either in the Netherlands or in Japan.

Daan’s pop-up shop also shows that there can be opportunities to introduce secondhand Japanese knives in other countries. Anyone interested in sharing and selling Japanese knives in their own country is welcome to contact Yoichiro Knife.
