Masataka Ko-Deba Knife
This is an aji-kiri (small deba) knife by Masataka.
The aji-kiri is a small Japanese knife suited for processing small fish. This double-edged model shows little sign of use.
The blade features a black oxide finish, which helps reduce rust while providing a distinctive dark appearance.
It creates a contrast with the polished cutting edge and develops character over time.
As this is not a newly applied finish, some unevenness in color may be present, which adds to its unique texture.
This knife is double-edged and made of hagane (carbon steel), known for its sharpness.
Its double-bevel design makes it easier to handle for users who are less familiar with traditional single-bevel knives.
The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.
It features the engravings "正孝" (Masataka) and "特製" (Special), with branding on the handle and a remaining Sakai sticker.
Length: 245mm
Blade Length: 120mm
Blade Width: 37mm
Blade Thickness: 3-4mm
Weight: 81g
