Sakai House of Kireaji Nakiri Knife

The nakiri is a Japanese vegetable knife designed for straight push-cutting, making it efficient for chopping and slicing vegetables.

This knife is double-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). It may be nearly unused, but there is slight darkening from storage, so it is listed as excellent condition.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features engravings “堺切味乃家” (Sakai Kiraji no Ie) and “青鋼” (Aogami-Steel).

Aogami steel is valued for its sharpness and edge retention, making this an appealing nakiri for serious vegetable prep and clean, presentation-friendly cuts.
