Maruuhi Wa-Gyuto Knife
A wa-gyuto blends Japanese knife elements with the versatility of a chef’s knife, making it easy to use across meat, fish, and vegetables.
This knife is double-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). There is some darkening, but the sharpened edge shows a clean silver hagane surface.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features engravings “丸ウヒ” (Maruuhi) and “青” (Blue).
With its chef-knife versatility and carbon-steel edge feel, a wa-gyuto like this is a nice bridge between Japanese and Western styles for daily cooking.

Blade Thickness: 2-3mm
