Sakai Soun Santoku Knife

The santoku is an all-purpose knife that works well for meat, fish, and vegetables.

This knife is double-beveled with a warikomi (clad) construction, with hagane as the core. It offers excellent cutting performance and is relatively easy to care for, but since the edge is carbon steel, please wipe moisture frequently during use.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features the engraving “堺宗雲作” (Sakai Soun-made). The “手づくり” (Handmade) sticker remains attached.

A handmade, steel-core santoku like this is a satisfying daily tool—sharp, responsive, and versatile enough to handle most home cooking without fuss.
