Edokoma Nakiri Knife
The nakiri is a Japanese vegetable knife designed for straight push-cutting, and its flat edge makes it efficient for chopping and slicing vegetables.
This knife is double-beveled with a warikomi (clad) construction, with hagane as the core. It offers excellent sharpness and is relatively easy to maintain for a steel-core knife. Since the cutting edge is carbon steel, please wipe moisture frequently during use.
It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.
It features engravings “登録” (Registered), “江戸駒作” (Edokoma-made), and “本割込” (Warikomi).
A steel-core nakiri is a great everyday vegetable knife—crisp cutting feel at the edge, with more manageable upkeep than a fully carbon blade.
