MISONO Gyuto Knife

A gyuto is a versatile Western-style chef’s knife suited to meat while also working well for vegetables and fish.

This knife is double-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). It features the famous MISONO dragon design. There is some darkening typical of carbon steel, but the sharpened edge shows a clean silver hagane finish. It had been sharpened slightly toward a single bevel, and it has been finished that way.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features markings “Misono,” “特別鍛造” (Special Forging), and “Swedish Steel,” and it has the dragon design on the blade.

A dragon-engraved MISONO gyuto is iconic, and the Swedish-steel build is known for a crisp edge—an excellent centerpiece knife for serious home cooks and professional prep alike.
