Tsuruchiyo Yanagiba Knife

The yanagiba is a Japanese sashimi knife with a long, slim blade designed for smooth pull-cut slicing.

This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (high-carbon steel). With a 205mm blade length, it is an easy size for enjoying sashimi at home from fish blocks.

It has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening service.

It features the engraving “鶴千代” (Tsuruchiyo).

A shorter yanagiba like this can be very approachable for home sushi and sashimi prep—enough draw for clean slices, while staying easy to control on a small board.
